Description:

Explore a mysterious building collecting strange swirly stuff while avoiding being caught by the things roaming the manor. Don't take too much at a time, as the puppets can see if something is missing, and they get suspicious. Touching a portal outside the manor prevents this.

Caution:

This game has a bit of spooky elements, including auditory jump scares.

Controls:

  • WASD for movement.
  • Point and click the left mouse button to collect.
  • Simply touch the portals to drop off what you've collected.

Tips:

  • Suspicion results in higher movement speed of the puppets.
  • You are able to not get detected by the portraits if you time it right and stay close the wall it is on. (Maybe they like face-to-face interaction)
  • Portraits' eyes are visible depending on where they are looking.
  • You are able to steal the portraits as well, them being much higher value if you aren't detected.
  • If a portrait detects you, suspicion increases.
  • Puppets roam the manor in search of what you are stealing, if what they are looking for is missing, suspicion increases.
  • While a puppet sees you, suspicion increases.
  • Touching a portal removes suspicion, but the more suspicion you have, the more puppets spawn.
  • There are four endings possible.

Exploits:

(Ignore this if you want to play as the creator intended) (But exploits are fun)

  • Things can be stolen from behind walls, including portraits.
  • Puppets only follow you if they see you. If you are swift, you can run behind their backs or behind a wall, and they might lose you.
